Billy Offill, a former star at El Molino High, has been named the men’s basketball coach at Mendocino College.

Offill had a record of 36-54 during his three years at College of the Siskiyous. He led Siskiyous to a 22-12 record and berth in the NorCal Regional playoffs this past season.

Offill was Empire Player of the Year at El Molino in 1996 and went on to play at Santa Rosa Junior College, Mendocino College and the College of Idaho.

He replaces former Mendocino coach Marc Otten. The Eagles had a 3-22 record last year.
