In a scoreless tie in the top of the 11th inning against Cal State Stanislaus on Friday, Sonoma State’s Nicole Cordova hit a two-run homer.

Three batters later, SSU’s Ashley Britton hit a three-run homer.

That’s two homers in four at-bats.

Strange? The Seawolves, who won 5-3, entered the 11th inning with two home runs in 712 at-bats this season.

Their previous homers? They were also hit by Cordova and Britton.
