Yale senior guard Jamie Van Horne (Healdsburg) recently completed her decorated four-year college career.

Van Horne, the team captain, set school records for games played (110), career three-pointers (216), single-season three-pointers (62) and she tied the school record for most three-pointers in a game (7).

In 2006, she made 7 of 7 three-pointers in a game against Brown, setting an Ivy League record for three-point percentage in a game.

Van Horne was one of five women in Ivy League history to have more than 200 career three-pointers.

Yale went 11-17 this season and Van Horne averaged 8.3 points a game.

Van Horne’s father, Peter, was a first baseman on the University of Arizona’s 1976 national championship team. Her uncle, Keith Van Horne, was a 13-year NFL veteran who was a starting offensive lineman on the Chicago Bears 1986 Super Bowl team.
