Santa Rosa Junior College sophomore striker Niki Poole and freshman defender Cat Barnekow have been named first-team All-Americans by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

Poole and Barnekow, who led SRJC to 24-3-1 record and into the California Community College state-title game, were two of 11 first-team selections. Barnekow was one of two freshmen and SRJC was one of two schools to have two first-team honorees.

Poole, who starred at Casa Grande, led the Bear Cubs with 24 goals. Barnekow, from Santa Rosa High, led a defense that allowed 0.61 goals a game.
