Bear Cubs sophomore midfielder Diego Marroquin has been named a first-team All-American by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

Marroquin, from Petaluma High, led the Bear Cubs to a 19-1-4 record and berth in the state semifinals. Marroquin had two goals and two assists and was a key part of a defense that allowed 0.46 goals a game.
