SRJC quarterback Adam Froman of Maria Carrillo High has verbally committed to the University of Louisville after throwing for 3,888 yards, 40 touchdowns and being named the California Community College Offensive Player of the Year.

Froman, a 6-foot-4, 225-pound sophomore, will officially sign with Louisville on Wednesday. Froman was offered full scholarships by Louisville and Colorado State. Washington State and Marshall also recently invited Froman to take official visits.

Froman will enroll at Louisville next month and will have two years of eligibility.
I’ll write a full story on Froman’s commitment for Wednesday’s Press Democrat.
