Sonoma State junior defender and Rohnert Park native Lindsay Catton has been named to the Daktronics Division II All-America second team, becoming the first SSU women’s soccer All-American since 2000.

Catton, who starred at Rancho Cotate, led the Seawolves to a 15-5-1 record and a share of the CCAA North Division title by scoring a team-high nine goals and adding two assists while headlining a defense that allowed just 25 goals.

Catton was one of just three players from the West Region named to the second team. None were named to the first team.
