Santa Clara freshman Meaghan Kari (Windsor) is making a seamless transition to Division I golf.

Kari had a pair of top-10 finishes in her first two events of the season in October. She debuted by tying for fifth at the Coast MBW College Challenge in Nipomo.

A week later, she tied for 10th at the Boise State Invitational. Kari shot a first-round 72 to help the Broncos fire a 294, the lowest one-day team score in program history.

Kari was a three-time Empire Player of the Year at Windsor.
