The Santa Rosa Junior College football team is ranked 24th nationally in the JC Grid-Wire Top 25 with a 2-0 record.

What does this mean? Perhaps not much.

Reedley College (1-1) is ranked 19th. SRJC beat Reedley 38-20, on the road, in its season opener.

By the way, City College of San Francisco, previously ranked No. 1, fell to No. 8 after losing to Fresno 24-17 last week. No. 5 Fresno visits SRJC on Sept. 27.
