The Seawolves announced two late additions to their 2009 recruiting class — local stars Nico Spann of Montgomery and Zac Olson of Maria Carrillo.
Spann, a midfielder, recently traveled to England with the Disney Showcase All-Star team and has played for the PanAm Maccabi National Team in Argentina. A four-year varsity player at Montgomery, Spann was a first-team all-North Bay League selection and an eight-time team captain as a member of the Santa Rosa United Boca Juniors Club.
Olson, a midfielder, was the All-Empire Player of the Year as a senior and helped lead the Pumas to two North Coast Section titles. He was a two-time all-league selection.
The Seawolves will meet Stanford at 11 a.m. Thursday in an exhibition match in Palo Alto.
