Sonoma State volleyball leaders Taylor Krenwinkel and Keala Peterson have been named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association All-West Region Team and Ally Sather earned honorable mention.

The Seawolves for the first time landed multiple players on the regional team, and this was only the third season Sonoma State volleyball standouts earned the honor.

Krenwinkel, a sophomore from San Diego, also was named to the California Collegiate Athletic Association all-conference team. She led the league with 4.73 digs per set and already has topped 1,000 in just two years.

Former Analy high star Peterson led the Seawolves with 4.18 kills per set. The all-conference sophomore from Sebastopol also led the team with 13 double-doubles in kills and digs.

Sather, the sophomore from Maria Carrillo high in Santa Rosa, led Sonoma State with 442 kills. Also an all-conference player, Sather was among the conference and national leaders with 3.98 kills per set.

The other two other players in Sonoma State history to make the all-region team were Christina Difani in 1997 and Kristy Sather in 2007.
