A trio of Sonoma State golfers have been named to the GCAA/PING Division II All-America team, led by Patrick Bauer with a third consecutive national honor.

Bauer was a third team selection. Janssen Todd and Jeremy Wendelken received honorable mention recognition.

Sonoma State finished the season strong, winning the NCAA Division II Men’s Golf Central/West Super Regional in Palm Desert to earn a fourth consecutive trip to the national championships. The Seawolves fell short in defending their national title, finishing fourth.

Bauer, a junior from Colfax, led Sonoma State with a stroke average of 74 on the season.

Second low scorer on the team, Wendelken finished along with Bauer in the top 15 of both the regional and championship tournaments. He is a sophomore from Sammamish, Wash.

Todd, a sophomore from Redmond, Wash., was the second Sonoma State golfer to win the individual title at the regional tournament. His brother Jarin was the individual medalist a year ago.
