After opening its season with a win at Cabrillo on Friday, the Santa Rosa Junior College men’s soccer team gets four games at home beginning Tuesday with a nonconference contest against Las Positas.

The Bear Cubs’ first Big 8 Conference game follows on Sept. 7 against Cosumnes River.

Winners of the past three league titles, the Bear Cubs last season fell one win shy of a third straight trip to the state final four. Santa Rosa fell to Taft College on the road, making it three losses in four consecutive playoff games with the Cougars. The Bear Cubs defeated DeAnza and Modesto to reach the round of eight.

Santa Rosa finished with a record of 13-3-5.
