Sonoma State soccer standouts Ryan Hall and Cam Vickers have earned Daktronics Division II Men’s Soccer All-West Region honors.

Hall, a senior from Trabuco Canyon, was named to the first team. A defender, Hall led a stingy Seawolves defense that yielded just over a goal on 10 shots a game. Hall also was named to the California Collegiate Athletic Association First Team, the CCAA All-Tournament Team, and the NCAA Division II West Region All-Tournament Team.

Vickers, a junior from Lake Tapps, WA, was named to the All-West Region second team. The conference leader in assists with a dozen, Vickers was named the CCAA tournament’s Most Outstanding Offensive Player with an assist in Sonoma State’s win over No. 6 Cal State San Bernardino in the semifinals and scoring the game-winning goal in the championship match against No. 24 Cal State Dominguez Hills.

After winning the 2010 CCAA Men’s title, Sonoma State fell to Chico State in the first round of the NCAA Division II Men’s Soccer Championship Tournament. The Seawolves finished 14-6-1 on the season.
