Led by league player of the week O’Koyea Dickson, the Sonoma State baseball team opens the California Collegiate Athletic Association tournament Thursday against Chico State.

The Seawolves won four of their last five to finish the regular season 33-17 overall and 24-16 in conference, good for second place.

The CCAA tournament runs Thursday through Saturday at Klein Family Field on the campus of the University of the Pacific, in Stockton. The first game has UC San Diego facing Cal Poly Pomona. Game time for the Sonoma State-Chico State contest is 7 p.m.

A Seawolves catalyst all season, Dickson is second on the team in hitting at .345 and leads with 10 home runs.

The first baseman earned CCAA player of the week honors after batting .579 and knocking in six runs over five games.
