In a season of improvement, the Sonoma State women’s water polo team finished sixth in conference play.

The Seawolves also placed three athletes on all-conference teams.

Sonoma State won a match to stay alive in the Western Water Polo Association Championship Tournament before falling to Cal State Monterey Bay to close the season. Sonoma State finished 13-20 overall and 6-7 in the WWPA.

Earning all-tournament second team honors was Adrienne Bisharat, who scored six goals in the three tournament contests. Bisharat is from Sacramento.

WWPA regular season honors went to three other Sonoma State players. Colette Reid, from Carlsbad, was a second team selection. Lindsay Rangel, out of Chino, was honorable mention. Making the freshman team was Noelle Herrera, from Orange.
