A familiar name is back among league leaders with Sonoma State scoring machine Lauren Curtin pacing the undefeated Seawolves on the young soccer season.

Curtin, the NCAA All-American out of Maria Carrillo high, is tied for second in total points in the California Collegiate Athletic Association. Curtin has four goals and three assists in just four contests.

Last season, her first with Sonoma State after two years at Santa Rosa Junior College, Curtin scored 15 goals. Curtin’s seven assists also led the team as she finished second in scoring in the CCAA.

Sonoma State is ranked 15th in NCAA Division II by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
