Spring Lake Regional Park is the site for Saturday’s collegiate cross country meet hosted by the Sonoma State women’s team.

Teams from across Northern California will run the Sonoma State Invitational at the course in east Santa Rosa.

The women’s 6 kilometer race is set for 9 a.m. Competing are Cal State Monterey Bay, Dominican, Humboldt State, San Francisco State, Santa Rosa Junior College, and UC Santa Cruz.

The men’s 8 kilometer race follows at 9:45 a.m. Competing are Cal State Monterey Bay, Dominican, Humboldt State, San Francisco State, Santa Rosa Junior College and UC Santa Cruz.

Sonoma State is running its third women’s meet of the season that concludes with the NCAA Division II West Regional, in Spokane, Wash., Nov. 9.

SRJC hosts the Pat Ryan Invitational, also at Spring Lake, on Oct. 18. The season concludes with the state championships, in Fresno, on Nov. 23.
