Sonoma State was fourth in the California Collegiate Athletic Association in athletes earning All-Academic honors.
A total of 46 men and women on Seawolves teams earned CCAA academic distinction. Universities ahead of SSU in the 12-school conference, in order, were UC San Diego, Cal State Monterey Bay and Chico State.
To qualify student athletes needed to maintain a 3.4 grade point average or better and earn a letter in one of the nine CCAA sports that SSU fields teams.
Another five women athletes were recognized by the Western Water Polo Association.
SSU also honored 16 student athletes who earned a 3.5 grade point average or better in sports not affiliated with the CCAA.
