Lindsay Catton has added another honor to her soccer resume at Sonoma State University, receiving honorable mention on the Daktronics Division II Women’s Soccer All-America Team.

The senior midfielder was one of four California Collegiate Athletic Association players named to the national team. This was the second consecutive All-America honorable mention honor for Catton, who also earned All-Far West Region First Team honors the past two years.

Catton, from Rancho Cotate High School, in Rohnert Park, also was named to the All-CCAA First Team her junior and senior seasons.

A defensive anchor, Catton also scored five goals this season. For her career with the Seawolves, Catton scored 17 goals and dished out 14 assists.

Sonoma State finished 2009 with an 8-9-3 record overall and the Seawolves were 6-7-3 in the CCAA.
