Taylor Krenwinkel is moving up the Sonoma State volleyball record books and this week was named the Molten/California Collegiate Athletic Association Player of the Week.

Sonoma State won all three matches this past week and Krenwinkel again was a leader from her libero position. Her highlight was a pair of 29-dig games in close wins over Cal State Monterey Bay and Cal State East Bay. Sonoma State also shutout Humboldt State.

In the three wins the senior from San Diego recorded 70 digs in 12 sets and just two receiving errors in 59 attempts.

With 1,694 career digs, the two-time American Volleyball Coaches Association All-American is within 11 digs of setting the Sonoma State record for most digs in a career. Krenwinkel is the all-time leader in Seawolves history with 4.79 digs per set and in appearances with 97 matches played.

Sonoma State is 5-0 in conference play and 7-2 overall on the season.

The Seawolves host Cal State Dominguez Hills on Friday and Cal State Los Angeles on Saturday. Both match times are 7 p.m. in Rohnert Park.
